This piece of bog oak was stood vertically against the wall on the workbench and immediately I could see the outline of a man with hands behind his back looking down  deep in thought, so I sculpted the head and back to enhance the leaning profile. The bog oak base with its natural rough grains, cracks and twists really compliment the overall piece.
