The dread of many, the infamous turf sprong. This workhorse loaded thousands of tons of turf off the bogs of Ireland onto all types of trailors, big and small, and then unloaded it again into sheds when brought home. This turf sprong is now retired and rests ironically on a piece of bog oak exhumed when the turf was cut from the bog.
