The Dead King

I found a partially hollowed out short stump of bog oak and immediately it looked like a crown - I fully hollowed out the internal of the crown and formed a circular shape both inside and outside. I then left the crown in the workshop for months not really knowing what to do with it. I then rediscovered an unfinished piece of bog yew that was partially sculpted by my daughter into a head shape or skeleton and low and behold the crown fitted - so if the hat fits wear it!. A friend told me that the head and crown look like the "Dead King" from the Lord of the Rings - I haven't seen the film but that's what the piece is called.
