This is just a simple cut off piece of bog oak saved from the workshop floor but equally significant and important in terms of its history. The grain and texture of the oak is wonderful. This little piece has survived this long so it deserved to be restored and polished. Though small in stature it's silhouette reminds me of the world highest mountain - Everest or Chomolungma to give it's correct name.
